Photos And Other Things..
More photos and less other things for the time being.
When I began this modest effort at periodically commenting on the goings on in the country I began the title with “Photos”. For all of my posts with the acceptation of a few, a photo was included. Currently, way more knowledgeable and articulate voices than mine are delivering sharp cogent content than I am here on Substack. So, henceforth I will lean into the photos end of my offerings until I feel I have something more substantial to share by way of the written word.
I don’t post on the regular, those of you who subscribe know this. In the meantime, I encourage everyone to seek out these exceptional resources for truthful commentary and factual reporting. These are sources I look to, to remain informed and engaged. All here on Substack, and these are just a few, there are many more I’m sure you all have your favorites.

With this post I thought I would completely change the subject. Today I offer up a few images from my unfinished or more accurately characterized, short-lived Route 66 project. I like to think that I will return to it one day and travel the entire pathway. These images made along the nation’s historic path from Chicago, IL to Los Angeles, CA, specifically the leg between Victorville, CA and Albuquerque, NM.
